Impossible dreams can come true . . .

Impossible dreams can come true . . .

The words “there’s the chance of a job for you” were always music to the ears of Suraya Ismail, who’s been blind since birth.

But three years after matriculating, Suraya still didn’t have a job, and she started to think that getting a job was impossible.

Then she enrolled at Optima College. The skills she mastered here set her on a career path that culminated in her landing her dream job: as braille instructor at Optima.

That’s why we’re hoping you’ll join Illuminé today.

Illuminé is our exclusive circle of supporters who help make the “impossible” possible for people that are blind and partially sighted by making an extra donation once a year.

Suraya was one of the first students when Optima College opened in 1985.

“When I arrived, I was afraid of many things. I used to cry and run away when I messed up in class,” she recalls.

With the patience and support of Optima staff – and valuable contributions from loyal partners – Suraya overcame her fears.

If you join Illuminé by clicking here now, you’ll help others like Suraya overcome their fears!

So please can I count on you to join our special group of friends and help blind students connect with training . . . connect with jobs . . . and connect with their brightest dreams?
