The South African National Council for the Blind (SANCB) is inviting applications for a Provincial Administrator to join their Gauteng Team. This position is a five hour per day post.
The Job entails to:
• serve as the link between the national, the provincial office and member organisations
• support the work of the PEC, and work closely with the Provincial Chairperson.
• represent the organisation in the province as instructed
• report to head office as instructed
• carry out all administrative tasks, gather and disseminate information
The person must have:
• Grade 12 with English and Accountancy as subjects
• Secretarial/Office Administration Diploma
• Diploma in Computer Literacy
• Training in Committee work - compilation of agendas and minute writing a prerequisite.
Experience:
-
At least 4 years experience secretarial/office administration

Computer literacy (MSWord, Excel, Internet Explorer and E-mail).

Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
-
Record management experience.

Some bookkeeping experience.
A valid Driver’s license is a perquisite except for disabled candidates. .
Candidates may be asked to undergo testing.

Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience and qualifications. Preference will be given to suitably qualified visually impaired persons
