Like any other organisation, we have running costs and things we are in continuous need of. If we can get some of these things sponsored, we can spend more of our money directly on empowering blind and partially sighted persons.

Things we can never have too much of:

• Stationary including paper, envelopes, pens, etc.;
• Computer equipment and software;
• USB drives and headphones for students;
• Cleaning detergents;
• Clothes;
• Bedding for the hostel;
• Cutlery and crockery;
• Office furniture;
• Microwaves;
• Kettles;
• Sporting equipment;
• Plants and gardening equipment;
• Consumables like coffee, tea, sugar, toilet paper, etc.
• Graduation gowns for the Optima students;
• Sponsorship for Council's Christmas Party (rewarding staff after a year's work);
• Second hand computers - so students can use their new skills at home;
• Digital camera or video camera to use in recording projects and successes;
• Road paint for demarcating parking bays on Council's premises;
• Speakers to use at functions;
• Display stands for exhibitions;
• Sponsorship for our website;
• Sponsorship for upgrading of our IT network.

We can also use the following for our community projects:

• Beads, stings, etc.;
• Gardening equipment and plants;
• Leather, buckles, etc.;
• Beekeeping suits, gloves, etc..
