Soweto is one of the famous cities in the world due to the important role it played in the struggle against apartheid. Visitors flock to this outstretched city to experience something of the miracle of the peaceful transition to democracy, regarded as one of the greatest achievements of humankind in the 20th century! It is home to millions of friendly residents who love to interact with visitors. The programme includes:

- Soweto neighbourhood drive-by: See Baragwanath Hospital (biggest hospital in southern hemisphere); taxi-rank, neighbourhoods: the good, the bad and the ugly! Hector Pieterson memorial; Vilakazi Street (only street in the world where two Nobel Peace prize-winners used to live) and Nelson Mandela House.
- Drink with the locals in a shebeen (pub)
