The Centre for Community Training and Development (CTD) at UNISA offers certificate courses and programmes which provide specific practically oriented, career and in-service education and training.

These certificates are aimed at:

  • Education and training practitioners and learners in industry, organisations and institutions;
  • In-service and prospective teachers;
  • The general public.

The CTD has a rich source of expertise in education, training and capacity building and makes this expertise accessible and affordable to the broader community through a number of certificate courses and programmes.

By presenting distance education certificate programmes and courses the Centre for Community Training and Development makes it possible for people to receive training that does not fall within the time and cost limits of the degree or diploma structures of formal university courses.
